What an extraordinary, soul-nourishing gathering! To every single member, delegate, leader, and guest who traveled from near and far to join us in Alexandria, Virginia: thank you. It was truly your warmth, your wisdom, and your vibrant energy that transformed WLCJ Convention 2026 into such an inspiring and resounding success. After years of relying on screens to stay connected, stepping into the same space together to embrace old friends, welcome new faces, and lift up our collective voice was nothing short of magical.

From the spiritual peace of our opening Shabbaton and the deeply moving Bat Mitzvah ceremony to our invigorating workshops, world-class keynote speakers, and joyful evening celebrations, every single moment was powered by you. Together, we shone a spotlight on our remarkable Jewels in the Crown winners, stood in unity during the installation of our leadership, and shared endless laughter from the Judaica Fair to our masquerade evening. Your engagement in every session, song, and hallway conversation showcased the very best of what Women’s League represents.

As we all return home to our local Sisterhood Affiliates and Regions, we carry with us far more than just wonderful memories, we take home a renewed passion to engage, enrich, and empower our communities for years to come. Thank you for bringing your heart, your dedication, and your spirit to Alexandria. WLCJ Convention 2026 was extraordinary because you were there!

OUR FINAL PUSH FOR COMFORT CASES!

As we officially wrap up our post-Convention festivities, we have one final opportunity to turn that shared energy into meaningful action through our WLCJ Social Action Project. We partnered with Comfort Cases to ensure that no child enters the foster care system carrying their personal belongings in a trash bag, providing them instead with dedicated backpacks filled with daily essentials, hygiene kits, and items of comfort.

Convention 2026 may have concluded, but our mission to offer dignity and care to these children is making its final push. Please consider making one last contribution to help us cross the finish line strong and maximize our impact for youth in need.

Women’s League for Conservative Judaism is proud to announce that we have assumed administration of the Torah Fund Campaign, ushering in a new chapter in its 84-year history of supporting Conservative/Masorti Jewish education and leadership.

The 2026–2027 campaign, Shema Koleinu – שמע קולנו – Hear Our Voice, launched July 1, with the Torah Fund office now located at 3080 Broadway, Suite K900, New York, NY 10027. U.S. donors will continue to make checks payable to Torah Fund, and Canadian donors will continue to make cheques payable to the Jewish Theological Society (Toronto). Join us in welcoming Morgan Long, Torah Fund Manager. We also welcome Isabella Berthel, iberthel@wlcj.org, our Torah Fund Administrative Assistant. Stay tuned for campaign updates!

It’s time to get organized for the upcoming year! The Women's League 2026-2027 (5787) Calendar Diaries are officially available for pre-order. Every diary includes essential daily resources: Shabbat and holiday listings, Torah readings, candle lighting times for the US, Canada, and Israel, prayers, berakhot, and the Mourner's Kaddish, and much more!

New Series of WWOT for the New Torah Fund Campaign Available Now

The new Torah Fund Campaign, Shema Koleinu, has begun! To commemorate this occasion, WLCJ Executive Director Rabbi Ellen S. Wolintz-Fields has written words of Torah for all the parshiyot for this month. We hope they inspire you to start to engage with the meaning behind the new Torah Fund Campaign theme, and we invite you to share these reflections in your own communities.

This comprehensive resource features 82 unique programs that have been submitted by WLCJ members, alongside a dedicated guidebook section on how to program and toolkit tips to enhance the programming that Sisterhood Affiliates are presenting.
